Rehab-EMR is an innovative therapy documentation system designed for physical and occupational therapists and their administrators who are dissatisfied with the wasted time, inaccuracy and the inefficiency of manual documentation.
Rehab-EMR is a web-based system designed to use internet/intranet technology. Access to the system is through a standard Web browser and supports a wide array of hardware platforms, including wireless Tablet PC's and Laptops. Rehab-EMR was developed by therapists for therapists and requires a minimal amount of user training. Therapists can begin to achieve the benefits of the system within hours of its installation.
Rehab-EMR is normally installed on dedicated user servers located at our secured data center making it very cost effective for your facility. An option to have it installed at customer site is available.
Rehab-EMR solution provides streamlined processes that maximizes reimbursement while substantially reducing administrative and paper-related costs. The system with its web-serving linux technology and a central robust database engine from MySQL, enables access to the system from any workstation with a standard browser while ensuring security through the use of powerful encryption technology that is built-in with linux.
Rehab-EMR maximizes facility reimbursement rates by capturing all required medical documentation at point-of-care. Simplified clinical documentation processes with an automated CPT coding minimizes the risk of fraud through accurate, legible, and standardized procedures. All billable treatments are automatically converted into charge tickets and electronically posted and passed on to a billing system significantly decreasing administrative costs and reducing the potential for transcription coding errors, redundant data entry, and under-billing.
Rehab-EMR enables management to create value from the captured clinical data through the systems' multi-dimensional data structure combined with extensive analytics capability. Key Performance Indicators(KPI's) including average patient length of stay, numbers of missed treatments, resource utilization, time and units accrued from treatments, treatments rendered daily(weekly, monthly, or by facility) by staff and by disciplines can be viewed across facilities through simple point and click menu selections.
